review ☆ The Crescent Through the Eyes of the Cross: Insights from an Arab Christian (The Navigators Reference Library) D provides suggestions on how to build vital relationships with Musli I find the author to be very sensitive with his approach and handling of the subject of Islam However I personally feel that he is trying to champion not only the cause of Christianity but by attempting to be so sensitive to Islam and by the authors creation of fictitious people and scenarios that as a Christian I cannot respect his findings I am not trying to attack the author yet by attempting to satisfy both Christian and Muslim readers in stating so fervently of his unbiased respect for the Islamic people that as the reader of this book I find very little in this book to be of useFirst and foremost I do agree with the author that we do need to enter into our interactions with other religions with a sense of respect so as the truth of Christ may be exhibited before and to themI believe that the author did hit the nail on the head in respect to being sensitive to other religions yet my personal opinion is that he failed to convey Christ than that sensitivity That he may have missed an opportunity of spreading truth over his fictional stories if I had wanted fictional dramatizations as means of conveyance I would have chosen a book suited to that Again I am not saying that there is not anything of redemptive value from his efforts yet I feel that there are other books on this topic that convey the same level of sensitivity without fictionalizationI just feel that the author missed the mark with this book I do in fact pray for Muslims as they are made in the image of God and also descended from the seed of Abraham I just feel that I can not recommend this book a book on this same subject matter that I would highly endorse is My dear Muslim friend by Jerry MattixAgain from my perspectives only you may find the crescent through the eyes of the cross to be useful for you but I did not Two stars because there is some truth to be conveyed yet no
