review Races of Faerun (Dungeons & Dragons d20 3.0 Fantasy Roleplaying, Forgotten Realms Setting) ´ PDF, DOC, TXT or eBook Discover the Diverse Denizens of the RealmsEncounter reclusive avariel arrogant Calishites noble centaurs and bold Rashemi From the steppes of Thay to the shores of Evermeet the inhabitants of the Realms are as distinct as the regions from which t Well this book covers many races for Forgotten Realms It also adds in a few interesting feats and a few items It gives much greater depth to all the races already covered in FRCS However there is one problem here if the race already had it s base stats covered in FRCS only the extra fluff is here none of the crunch This means you ll need both books and note that Race of Faerun is 35 and FRCS is 30 so there s a little problem here I d have prefered a bit less fluff and the basic race stats redone for allHowever there are also uite a few interesting new races here some which were only covered lightly in another supplement For instance there are complete rules for playing a Shade or a WemicThere is also a lot of background fluff on the various human races This may thrill you or bore you dependingAnyway if you play in the FR at least one of your group should get this book

review Races of Faerun (Dungeons & Dragons d20 3.0 Fantasy Roleplaying, Forgotten Realms Setting) ´ PDF, DOC, TXT or eBook Ten Realms game setting 80 new feats26 new magic items8 new monsters9 new prestige classes13 new spells To use this accessory you also need the Forgotten RealmsCampaign Setting the Player's Handbook the Dungeon Master's Guide and the Monster Manua Now this book is not what you d consider an essential book you can happily live without it Many races are included in various sourcebooks or the Monster Manual and can be adapted However this book is USEFUL Every player character race is included including every subdivision of them some of which are new eg You now have than just Shield Gold and Grey Dwarves and even cross breeds are given their lion s share eg Half drow and Half DwarfThe section I found most interesting is that unlike what you d expect humans are looked at too Now humans are normally given the smallest sections in books since we all know what humans are not in this book The author s have taken laborious time and effort to really express the fact that a Chondathan human eg from Amn Cormyr or the Sword Coast is very different in his manner education outlook personality and physiue from a Mulhorandi human It tells you everything about them from a physical description clothing habbits to how their society is structured and their mentality eg that the Mulhorandi have great respect for any Assimar s and Divine Spellcasters but thanks to the Red Wizards distrust and fear Arcane Spellcasters All the main regions are covered Chondathan Damarian Rashemi Mulhorandi etcIllustrations are good and every racial entry includes details on habbits physical appearance and physiue and society Many races even include specific prestige classes euipment and featsAs I said not essential to have in order to play you can find much of the information scattered around the Core Rulebooks Monsters of Faerun Forgotten Realms Silver Marches Forgotten East etc but this book puts them all together in a perfect bundle in a uality manner consistent with what you d expect from Wizards of the CoastI for one am very glad I bought it
